    Armstrong sx80
I'm new to the sight, but am fairly handy around the house. I love doing my own repairs.

My furnace would not light. The local tech that installed the furnace said he cleaned something, and the furnace has been lighting fine but the air coming out of the blower is much cooler. I had him back for a second check and he did not find anything wrong.

The blower seems to be coming on too soon and not letting the air warm enough. I assume there is a temperature control, but have not been able to find it.

My furnace is a model 8498K23972.

    Thanks for the feed back.

    Thanks for the reply.

Armstrong Furnace Blower Control Part# R40403-003

This board controls various items in your furnace including the blower. It is a electronic time delay setup. Usually if the board is bad it just will not allow the blower to run or the blower will run all the time.

I would just let it alone for now and put up with the not so hot air unless you want to replace the circuit board. To the best of my knowledge there is no other fan/blower control in the furnace that would operate the on and off nature of the blower.
