    Dog with dyspnoea
My dog is 8 yrs old, I don't know her breed. She looks like a normal dog, like any dog common in india... she is having severe dyspnoea. Which was progressive over last nine months. At first she used to cough and had syncope. Shown the vet. He told it may be a parasitic nodule.
Treated for 2weeks. But then also she had paroxysms of syncope.
Then she had progreesive dyspnoea and for last 1week she is having abdominal distention and ascites. She also has oedema of her hind limbs. Not her upper limbs.
She is now maintained on salbutamol. But in vain.
Never I got a good diagnosis.
Is it right heart failure due to a secondary COPD which may be due to an obstruction...
Or is there some other diagnosis:confused:
She is so sick that she eat meals by taking rest 2-3 times, during meal.
    Plzz help with a solution

Your dog has ascites that is a symptom of liver disease, on top of everything else, this is not good. How did this poor little thing come by so much illness ? With all that is wrong, I can only see one outcome. She will never recover and is suffering probably more then you know. I am surprised she is eating at all.
