    Wrong SSN on W-2
    When I received my W-2 my SSN is incorrect. What do I do?

    Contact your HR or payroll department for an amended copy. You can still use what you have to file, however, just correct the SSN. If you e-file, just make sure the SSN on the return is correct.

    She need to get a W-2C, because the IRS will NOT be looking for the income under the correct SSN without it.
