    Soft Water installation
I have existing plumbing in my home for a soft water system. Does the new system I will be installing have to be "hard plumbed" or can I use hoses to hook up the new system. I live in Alberta, Canada

Generally, you can connect hard plumbing and softener with 1" or 3/4" flexible corrugated supply connectors.
