OK I need help.
I'm 18 years old and I am 8 1/2 months pregnant. The father I was with for 6 years and when we found out I was pregnant, he left. Now he is saying that the baby is not his he wants a dna test and what not. And now, just this month he decided he wants to sign over his rights and wants nothing to do with his son.
How do I go about doing any of this? Does he still have to pay child support or no.. This is very confusing to me and need answers.. please help me..
Like I said I'm only 18 and going through a lot on my own right now.

This issue is discussed in hundreds of threads here including a sticky note. A little reading would have gotten you your answers.

Courts are very relunctant to grant a termination of parental rights (TPR). So the odds are very strong that he will not get one. State laws vary so some states will allow termination of rights but not responsibility so he would still be liable for support. In any event, a court will not grant a TPR just to let a parent out of child support.

So what you need to do is wait until the baby is born and immediately file for full custody and child support. He's request a DNA test and when that show him to be the father, he will be required to pay support.

I would contact a legal aid atty to prepare.

First I would assume you mean you were with him for 6 months, not 6 yeasrs, if so you were with him since you were 12.

But when he wants to sign over his rights, just laugh and say see you in court.
After the baby is born, file for custody, file for child support and if he wants to see the child he can file for visits.

But until the baby is born there is nothing you or he can do.

The courts will not let him just sign over his rights
