    Concrete footer
    I am looking at building a 76 ft wide and 56 foot deep home. I need to know how deep and how wide to dig the trench for my concrete footer

    This looks like one of those test questions.
    Wheres your Geo that's how deep it needs to go and township will give you that.
    The Trench is dug by a backhoe
    Bucket sizes
    12"
    16"
    18"
    24"
    36"
    Need to have more info to answer correctly and then I will know your skill level to help you correctly.

    I am building a two story home in the central part of virginia. The building inspector was very eager to help direct me on the requirements. Do not be afraid to call and ask questions. They would much rather come out once and have it be done right then to return for a reinspect.

    Good luck. We just dug out for a basement. Footers and foundations walls next.
