    Is it implantation
I know implantation doesn't happen to every woman, but I did have very scanty light light bleeding/spotting which was brown.. I'm unsure when my period is suppose to show up cause I got off BCP June 24th.. but on July 24th I took an ovulation test and it showed I was ovulating. So isn't it normal for 2 weeks after you ovulate you get your period? Correct? Or not.. this would be useful advice because if I ovulated on the 24th of July.. I started spotting the 31st of July. Then wouldn't my p eriod be do sometime the week of August 7th? This is one thing I can't figure out. I do know I took a pregnancy tset the other day and it came up negative. I haven't rules out pregnancy only because I might not have enough hcg. When should I test again. Next week? I'm so confused on all of this and my hubby and I just want to conceive a child. I know it might take a while. I just want to know about when maybe I should be getting my period. Thanks:confused:

When hoping for pregnancy when coming off the pill, you must take all aspects of birth control into account.

When you originally begin the birth control pill the doctor tells you that the brith control pill is not 100% effective. The doc then goes on to explain that the pill is not effective for at least the first 30 days that you are on it.

With this taken into consideration, it usually takes 30 days, sometimes longer for a woman to be able to conceive, all depending on your personal hormonal system as well as the particular kind of birth control.

Now, it may also take longer for some of us to get a regular period after stopping the pills. Remember your body has recognized a synthetic "hormone" for quite some time and it takes our bodies longer to recognize that we are no longer taking the pill. So for some of us the period may come that first month, but for some it takes much longer.

With that being said it is very possible that you are pregnant ;), but just as possible that you are not.:(

The best advice I can give is to treat your body as though you are pregnant, no drinking, smoking, or drugs. Eat healthy and take a vitanim supplement, you can take prenatal vitamins already, they are very good for you whether you are pregnant or not.

Take the HPT again in a week, they give more false negatives than they do false positives. If you do not have your period in a span of about 2 more weeks make a doctors appointment. Many of us do not even know we are pregnant until 12 weeks. Some sooner and some later, so just treat yourself well until you know for sure.
