    How do you move on.
I had been with my partner since I was 16 & I'm now 27... married for 7 of those years. We recently sepearated as we both felt that over the last year or so we had completely grown apart & are different people... we have 2 children together and he has regular contact with them. Everything seems to be very amicable and I feel that we are doing the right thing...
What I don't get is where I go from here, he has been apart of all my adult life & I don't know how to move on. People say take 1 day at a time but they all seem to roll into 1.

    Any advice would be great.

    Thanks

You say your separated, but is this over, or is divorce in your future? Its important to know what the plan is here. Nothing keeps us in limbo better than waiting on what if.

Either way, your goals should be to get independent, and your plan is to build a life that you enjoy, and makes you happy with yourself.

Do you work, and have some skills? Do you have dreams you want to accomplish??

It's going to be EXTREMELY hard. But you know what? I have faith in you. That you can overcome this. It may hurt every day, it may seem like every second of the day seem like minutes, but over time it gets easier.

Make a list of short term goals you want to achieve throughout the day and it'll help you get through, plus be productive.

Divorce hasn't been mentioned yet but yes it is over.
I work part time in a call centre so not really a career.
It is very hard adjusting to being on my own with the children. Focusing on them at the moment

Good focus on your children and anything else in your life that makes you happy. It will take a while, and you will have many ups and downs along the way, but you will heal. You just need time... which you have.
