Do you have any "how to" literature on spray painting dental moulding? I am needing instruction on what type of sprayer; use of compressor, psi etc; and how to protect ceiling from overspray.

If you plan to buy equipment for this you must make a decision on how much you want to spend and how often you will use this eqipment. For a one time job I'd rent from a rental shop or Home Depot. A small airless sprayer is all that is needed. I use a Wagner Paint Crew. Wagner USA [Home] Each different sprayer you buy will come with their directions.

I don't know how big the area is but there is a miniature paint spraying set that may work. I use in on small jobs and its used for car paint touch ups. It a small glass bottle and you use that for the paint. The top of the bottle has a replaceable compressed cartridge that picks up the sucks up the paint. Just replace the cartridge. Its very controllable for detailed work and very little over spray Dental molding is tricky to spray because of its sharp corners and tight inlays. Like I said if its small do the small bottle. Or the Wagner like ballengerb1 suggested. If it's a big house out side trim maybe rent a sprayer and they have the different tips for what you may need

Your other DeVilbiss is not airless and will make a mess while wasting paint. 21boat is talking about a Prevail spray bottle with a white charged gas can, they work well but only for a very small project of several feet, could still be you cheapest option though.
