    Your renters insurance would coordinate with the apartment complex's insurance company.

    I work on these cases every now and then. (I'm a liability investigator.)

    What was the cause of the fire?

    What do you mean by help?

    Agreed that your insurance would deal with figuring out liability though.

    Depends on damage, they may come in and clean, fix, new paint, and if it is your fault, bill you for the repairs.

    Not really enough info they don't pay for your damages, your insurance pays for that
