    Inventory requisitioned for use
    At EOY Company X had $2,000 raw material inventory

    At the beginning of the year they had $1,600 raw material inventory

    Over the year they bought $244,000 of materials but only paid for $234,00

    How much inventory was requisitioned for use during the year?

    234,000 was purchased but (2000-1,600) of the qty purchased did not go towards production, so...

    234,000 - (2000-1600) = 233,600
