    Disability Income
    My question is about disability income. I come from the state of Michigan and you can file a state tax return and receive rental and heating credits. I am now in Louisiana and my friend wants to know can you file down here and receive any credits for filing a state return.

    Your best bet for a completely accurate answer is to call the Louisiana state government tax department as ASK!

    To my knowledge, there are no rental or heating credits on the Louisiana state tax return.
