    Snoring is a PAIN-in-the-THROAT
My mom and dad have been arguing a lot lately, due to my dad's giant continues snores. They are about to the point where my dad has to sleep on the couch... It's very sad to hear them argues like that.

I have to admit it though, my dad is , one, big, snorer!!

So, I was wondering, is there anyway that could help me dad's snores? Natural ways please. I already know about nasal sprays and nasal strips and all that. Trust me, we've tried.

I have nasal spray too, but it's VERY strong and not good for long term. Please help!

My dad hates the couch... :D

Has your dad been tested for sleep apnea? My dad had it and it caused him to snore so loud he would wake himself up.

No, my dad doesn't snore that loud. Its very stable, but not so loud. It's annoying how once in a while, he snores louder then normal...

He said it's nasal congestion... He trieds a lot of allergy medicine, but it doesn't work. The only thing that works, is nasal sprays. We use the one with Oxymetazoline HCI-Nasal Decongestant, I've heard that it's bad for long term health, so we're not comfortable about using it for long.

Take a look at this; I hope it helps:

    Sleep and Snoring

Also, nasal congestion would prevent him from breathing through his nose. If he has that consistent of a problem, he needs to see a doctor.
