OK lol puppies = treats... they love treats and will do almost anything with it... show them the treat let them smell it but don't give it then grab the lead with the treat still visible... if they don't hide give them the treat as a reward pamper them... I had that trouble with my dog and now she puts her own face threw the collar lol

You have to make walking a fun experience. Start of slow, introduce the leash, let him sniff it, get used to it, lots of praise, lots of love. When he's comfortable just seeing the leash then it's time to attach it, again, lots of praise. At first just walk around the house, let him get used to the leash and the feel of not being able to go where he wants to go. Once you've mastered that then you can move to the outdoors.

Just remember, this is a new experience to him. Dogs aren't born knowing how to walk on a leash, it's not natural to them and they sometimes resist it.

Patience and praise, that's the way to go, before you know it you'll be enjoying long walks together. :)
