Ticking sound
The small box attached by wires to my honeywell ac/heater unit is making a ticking sound. It appears to be a power source or is it. Any advice?

hvac1000 I'm trying. Had to climb in the attic lol... I was given documentation I think on everything in the house but the ac/heating. I hope this is it... it's scary up there. Model 58STA070. Honeywell uses 16 x 25 filter F100f2005. Little ticking box is labeled honeywell too. Has one wire (brown) running to it. Has wires capped by orange wire caps. It's sitting to the side away from the furnace on some ductwork.

I wish you would have gotton the numbers off that Honeywell box. All the numbers you can find because that is a add on and not part of the furnace. If you can get the exact numbers off that box I will look it up for you and see exactly what it is. Then you can decide if you want to fix it or have someone else fix it.
This number is your furnace for your records (( 58STA070 ))

There were no part/model numbers on it. My system is set up by numbers. Names will not help. If it is what I am thinking of it is obsolete but some parts might be available.

Does it tick all the time or only when the furnace is running?

Frigidaire dryer makes a ticking sound

Hello, we just bought a Frigidaire dryer yesterday. The new High Efficiency model with the front loading washer to match. When I turn the dryer on it makes a ticking sound. I am not sure if this is normal. My husband thinks it's the motor ticking.
Thanks for your help.

Ticking cat

Hello!
This is mostly idle curiosity, since may Rana-cat's been like this for 9 years now and it doesn't seem to bother her. I have two cats, Rana and Pyret, and Rana makes ticking noises when she walks on laminate floors (not carpet (obviously!), not tile, not linoleum, and I haven't ever had...
Ticking sound in bathroom wall

Hi! I have a ticking sound in my wall right around my stink pipe that only occurs when water is running out of the tub. It starts when the water is running and then continues for a few minutes after. I can't seem to see any water leak and the fact that it is just a steady tick... tick... tick leads...
