    Change of Status B1 to F1
    Hi ! I come to usa last sep 11 ,I got 3 month visa ,after 1/2 month I was submit my case to immaigratinfor for change of status B1 to F1 , for master Degree in usa. My collage start on 20 jan. but I have still waiting for immaigration status. So how long I stay in usa. If they decline my 10 yrs visa is valid or expired. Can I reenter usa after 6 month later. Please give me reply

    You may subject to misuse of your visitor's via because you submitted change of status in less than one month after date of arrival..

    It's recommended that you leave US and apply for F-1 at the US consulate in your home country. If you wait for approval, and your case is denied, your status will become overstay.
