    Firebrick Panels
I'm trying to enclose the front of a firebox to make it look like a brick oven (propane logs). Can I use firebrick panels to enclose the front and make a new opening? How about durarock or hardie board instead? Thanks!

Is this a fireplace you are converting to gas logs?

    Better explanation needed.
