    Default options VA State Taxes
    I had payment arrangements with the state of VA on back taxes. I missed two months payments and can't make the total amount due at the end of the month. Does anyone know about any options I may have? JAY in VA:(

    Contact the Virginia state tax authorities and try to negotiate a new payment plan that you CAN meet.

    The state tax authorities recognize that your circumstances could have changed since you agreed to the payment plan, and may be willing to compromise on demanding payments you cannot meet.

    You might be surprised how flexible they can be.
