    Foot Problems
For the past couple weeks I have had a pain on the left side of my left foot. It is sore even if I am not standing on it. I have always had pain across my toes but now it hurts on the whole side of my foot. I already went to a pediatris and have orthotics. Does anyone know what this pain could be caused from? I never sprained or injured it in anyway. I do not jog and it became sore while on holidays just out of the blue.

    Hi, andreabrown62!

Greetings and WELCOME to the site! I just moved your question that you had posted in Introductions to this forum topic area so that it would get the most exposure to those who are best able to answer it. Introductions is for people to introduce themselves and we try to not ask questions there.

It can be a little confusing when first learning how to use this site! Your question will get noticed much more in this forum topic area.

We would appreciate it if you would return to Introductions sometime to tell us a little about yourself though, if you would be willing to do that.

    Thanks!

You should go and see a physician and if you haven't had a blood work-up in awhile, I would strongly suggest it. It sounds like you don't suspect that you injured your foot (a hairline fracture could cause those symptoms) so it could be several things. My first thought is that it could be a symptom of gout. If this has gone on for more than a few days, you definitely should have it checked out though.

Also, if you already have orthotics, perhaps something has changed.

    Good luck!

    Hugs, Didi

I have missed you, my friend. Many emails unanswered... :(
