Is there any Theft Diversion classes in DC,or VA?
Hi,I have very important question,see.. I'm on probation for theft, and I'm required to complete a theft diversion workshop/class as part of my probation,my probation case is handled in Hyattsville,MD, I was ordered to attend a theft diversion workshop/class in the state of Maryland, but by living in DC,and not knowing my way around MD too much,I kept missing the workshop trying to find the address,I was told by the guy that founded the workshop/class told me if I was to miss anymore workshops/classes,I will not be accepted again to come in,(now mind you,I'm paying for this!. the initial payment was $170.00,and $30.00 for every workshop/class missed,I had miss it about three times!)and I was wondering if there are any theft diversion workshops/classes in the Wasington DC area? I really need this information, this is the only thing I need to complete to get off probation,if I don't complete it I will be locked, and I really don't want that!. please somebody help.

The only person who knows is your PO. You weren't expected to just pay and not show up. If that had been the case you would have received a heavy (or heavier) fine.

You wandered around Hyattsville three separate times and couldn't find the address?

Well, you've violated and now it's up to the Courts.
