    2 year old zu peeing
I have a 2 year old zu that pees everywhere in the house. It's a male, and we let him out all the time. He will pee outside then come in the house and pee. We also have a 1 year old Chow, male also, and have no problem with him . Is there anybody outthere who who has any idea on how to stop him from this?
    Thank You

This is probably not the answer you wanted to hear but you need to get him to the vet if this is something that has just started recently. Could be several medical reasons for this... infection, diabetes.. They will want you to bring a urine sample in most likely.

Did this start shortly after you brought the chow home? Are both dogs neutered? This could simply be him marking his territory because a new dog is in the house, especially if the new dog isn't fixed.

The best way to handle this is to start all over with potty training. Take him outside, choose a potty word like "make, or potty", keep saying it until he does his business. Once he does his business, lots of praise, even a treat. If he does have an accident in the house and you catch him in the act, clap your hands, or say no, take him outside immediately and give him the signal word until he potties, then again, praise and a treat.

You have to teach him that this behaviour is not acceptable. Simply placing him outside is not enough right now, you have to be there to praise him when he does what you want. Once he follows your order to "potty" consistently then you can just let him out of his own, say the potty word and stay indoors while he does his duty.

    Good luck.
