Need to identify model number for snowblower
I purchased a new Craftsman Briggs and Stratton from an outlet other than Sears(305cc, 13.5/27 OHV, 6spds frwd and 2 rev. but there was no model # sticker on the snowblower. The manufacturing date is 09/08.Does anyone know how I could go about finding a model # for the blower? I have the serial # and the engine # is 20M114.

    Hi,
I might be able to help with a bit more info. Briggs & Stratton does not make anything but the engine, though they may indeed own the company that does. Look at the engine for three sets of digits/letters. Also, in recent years they model number tag has been "hidden" on the underside and inside of the handles to prevent damage and/or fading.
See what else you can find.
    Peace,
    Clarke
