    H1B married to F1 filing Jointly
    Hi,

    I am an H1B got married to F1 in 2008. Last year we both filed our return separately as H1B and international student

    1. can I file jointly this yr
    2. can I claim educational tax credits for my wife
    3. do I need to get here status change before filing as she is still on f1
