Don't forget to soak it first ! I never tried it in the oven but I would make it about 350 or 400 to start. Shouldn't take long.

I soak it for at least an hour... then wrap it in foil and put it on the grill when cooking out. So it's on the grill for usually 25-40 minutes. I imagine 30 minutes in a 350-400 degree oven would be similar... let us know what works.

I took a guess, 375F for 20 minutes. I put the sweetcorn (still in leaves) in a baking pan with a little water to keep everything moist. I put the corn in the oven from cold, I timed the 20 minutes from when the temp gauge reached 375F. My oven is a bit Robinson Crusoe, 350F will work for most ovens.

Thanks Sam... but I was just thinking that I know some people who eat it in the field, right off the stalk... so heating is just a matter of preference... and it's good just about anyway. And I'll try that baking pan idea... sounds good.

I don't wrap the ear of corn in anything. I soak it and cook it write in nature's wrapper.
