    You most certainly will receive a W-2 for any unemployment benefits paid to you in 2008. You will have to add this amount of earnings into your gross wages and pay any tax on that amount.

    Actually, you will receive a Form 1099-G from your state's Department of Labor.

    The amount on the Form 1099-G is posted on Line #21 of Form 1040 as "Other Income".
