My mom was resently in jail
My mom was in jail for welfare fraud how do u find out who turned her in?:(

I don't think you can find out who turned her in... if she is guilty of it, then she needs to do her time and learn a lesson... if she is not guilty, then it doesn't matter who turned her in, but rather what can be done to prove that she isn't guilty.
Finding out who turned her in seems to me just to be a question of revenge...

You probably cant. And that is so people like you don't go looking for them. Why do you want to know? Does it change the fact that she defrauded the government and taxpayers?

It is quite possible that the social worker handling the case did a computer check to see if the person was receiving an income. They have the ability to check on stuff like that and as a court bailiff I have seen cases where people were charged with welfare fraud and the social worker was the only witness.

Hello n:
If there was a search warrant, there was an affidavit made by the person who KNOWS what was going on... Your lawyer should be able to get a copy of the warrant and the affidavit.

That's correct, you should be given a copy of the charging document (warrant, warrant application, etc.) that shows what evidence the charges are based on.
