Shower turns on whether the shower pull is up or down.
I just had a plumber re-pipe my bathroom and install the bath tub. Today we put the shower head on and I turned on the shower to see how it worked. Well just turning on the water made a small flow come out of the shower head. When I pulled the shower pull knob on top of the faucit It had wonderful pressure. How do I make the water stop going to the shower head if I just want to run the tub. What went wrong?!

    Any advice would be great!

    Hi Mrs. Lopes,

If you be able to post a picture of your faucet and the bath tub spout we be able to help you, it appears that you have problem with the diverter, also you should call the same plumber to come and fix this for you, Thanks.

    Regards,
    John

Shower turns on by itself even though it is off [ 2 Answers ]

Hi, My shower is fine, doesn't leak, turns off properly, but a few times everyday it kind of spurts out a few seconds of bursts of water and then goes back to no leaks, turned off. Does anyone have any ideas, why it is doing this and how I can stop it? It has been recently renovated....

Shower valve hard to pull out [ 6 Answers ]

The shower valve is very hard to pull out. I do not have a brand or model at this time. It is a single valve that you pull out and then adjust hot/cold water by turning valve left and right. I am new to this site; why does it say it was posted at 6:37pm when it is 11:37am in CA

Shower diverter pull-up not working [ 2 Answers ]

I had my bathroom renovated a few months ago. I went to take a shower yesterday, pulled up the diverter and it didn't stay up. When I manually pulled the diverter up - the shower still didn't work. Only the bathtub works. Is there anything I can do to fix this myself? It's a new fixture.

Shower/ bath pull-out knob [ 1 Answers ]

The pull-out knob on the faucet has broken off. I cannot use the shower head as you cannot switch from faucet (for bathtub) to overhead shower. How is it repaired/replaced as the knob is a part of the faucet itself. Thanks for any info/diagrams. Dennis the non-plumber.
