    Pricing For Washing Machine Hookups.
    Hello,
I live in a house with no washing machine hookups anywhere in the house. We already have the washer, and we'd like to have the hookups installed in our basement. There are pipes for the water running along the ceiling in the basement, but none of them come down to be able to be hooked up to our washing machine.
Also, our house does not have a sump pump, which we would buy, but would probably need help in drilling a hole in the floor to have it installed as well.
I basically just wanted an estimate for the labor and materials which would basically be:
*the piping from the water line to the washer
*the piping from the washer out to the sump pump
*the piping out the sump pump to the drain line
*the hole drilled in the floor for the sump pump
*and any other materials needed for all the hookups/installation.
    Thank you!

It is impossible for me to give you an honest estimate on what you ask, but I do have an idea if all you are going to use the sump for is the washing machine.

Instead of digging a hole for the sump to set in just make sure that you buy one small enough that you could set it on the floor beside the washng machine, then plumb it into the existing piping. Unless you would be bothered by the sight of the pump sitting in the open.

I tend to agree with letmetellu on this but also, this is more of a sewer ejector than a sump pump. You would need to tie the ejector drain to an overhead existing drain line. The sump would need venting and a trap. I'd call a few handymne or plumbers to get a bid because it sounds as if you might want the work done for you. Most guys will give you a free estimate.
