Washer won't drain and can't get any cycle to start now
I have a 3 y.o. stackable washer/dryer and while filling up a load of jeans yesterday the washer decided to stop working. It won't drain or start any other cycle. I unplugged it and hoped it just needed to cool down of something but it still won't work. The dryer is plugged into the same outlet and is functioning perfectly. Any ideas out there as to what the problem may be?

Plug the dryer into the upper or lower part of the duplex outlet where the washer was and make sure it will work. Sometimes those outlets while being one unit are fed from different breakers.
