    Removing Old Bathtub/Shower
Ready to remove the tub. Does the nozzel that remains once the Faucet of the tub is removed 'unscrew' from the copper pipe or do I have to 'cut' around this nozzel?

    Hi Bob:

That tub spout will either spin off counterclockwise (use wrench) or you will need an allen wrench to remove the allen screw located at the underside near the wall... it is up and in the spout so would be good to use a compact mirror and flashlight to see up and into the underside of the spout.

The allen wrench/screw type diverter usually has a u shaped cut at the underbelly of spout... near wall (see pic.).

Let us know how things work as you go along...

Removing stuck bathtub spout [ 1 Answers ]

Hi, I have read the Q/A's on the site, but can't find an answer to this one. First, I have a Delta faucet. It looks like Delta Faucet T13422-SOS on the www.deltafaucet.com website. (There are a few more that look like this, but it has the diverter plug on the spout.) The difference is that...
