We've been married only 2 1/2 years. I'm 66 and he's 75. He promised the moon and beyond; has not delivered on most of it. We do enjoy a very comfortable lifestyle. He has the money and I am dependent on him.
Over the past year, I discovered that my husband has maintained a relationship with former girl friends through emails and phone calls. He's recently started a new 'flirt' with a business connection (he's only semi retired, manages his investments). He also regularly flirts with women when we are out socially so where it is embarrassing to me.
He's always home and so I know that there's nothing more to it than what I am describing.
By the way, I am attractive, take care of myself and in great shape; not that this should make a difference but it does to many.
Do I ignore this, pretend that it's not happening and just let him have his fun? In the meantime, it feels like '' to me; I get to feel like a potted plant in a corner.

I guess there is no age limit to insecurity, or bad behavior. If I were you though, since he is going nowhere, I would have other things to do that I enjoyed. Sitting around waiting for attention, is not a great way to spend time at any age.
