    Can my half brother change my status?
    Can my half brother aplly for me to get a green card even if he does not have the same last name as me?

    Maybe.. the chance is very slim unless you can prove that he is your only family member left in this world and without you he will face extreme hardship, etc. Beside, petition for sibling takes between 12-25 years depending on the country you live.
