Directbuy Showrooms would not give my money back
When you go into Directbuy Showrooms they should first tell you that they want big money $4000 to $5000 just to join.. But the money comes later. Once you walk out the door you can not get a refund. They will not give you your payment 10 minutes later. They will turn you into the credit reporting companies as a dead beat. They will not show prices, but I found that I could save a lot of money by buying at Best Buy and there were no fees, shipping, and you could return the item if it does not work. No returns at Directbuy showrooms.

Has anyone else had no service at Directbuy. The only thing they sell is the membership, once you buy that you are probably not spending much more there.

How do I get my money back, its been three months and no luck.

    Hello k:

If you went INTO their showroom, and signed a contract, there isn't ANY way you can get out of it, unless they LIED to you.

You COULD file a small claims suit against them and see if the judge is sympathetic. It'll only cost you about $50 or so to file.

You would have signed a contract with them, if there was some fraud on their part you can try and sue them. And of course when you walk in, no store is going to tell you of the costs, the "going out of business store" is not going to tell you every price was doubled so they could then make it down 80 percent.

I have actually been in Directbuy (my husband wanted to go. I thought it was a huge waste of time although it was an amusing experience).

Did you sign a contract with them? If so, you are responsible to pay. When I was there they had big signs all over that there were no refunds, If you don't pay according to your contract, yes, they undoubtedly will report you to the various credit reporting agencies.

I thought they were extremely high pressure - to the point of laughable.

But if you signed a contract you are bound by it.

You can always try the Better Business Bureau, report them and see what happens.
