Paid tax in India, Do I need to pay In US ?
I was working with one Company in India till Dec 8th of last year. The company had taxed me on the income I earned there. Since I've been in India for more than 182 days, I understand that I need to file Tax Returns In India.
Do I have to pay tax for the income earned in US as well ? The company here taxes me on the Income earned here. I am paying double tax for the income earned from Dec to March
    Help me clear my confusion.
    Thanks,
    Rej

If you are a U.S. citizen or resident you must report your world wide income. If you paid taxes in the foreign country, you will claim credit for taxes paid in the foreign country by filing Form 1116. Read: Your U.S. Tax Return: U.S. Citizen or Resident with Foreign Income
