Eligibility for deduction Moving Expense - on H1B
    Hi,

I am in depuation in USA on H1B and have the following scenario.

I was working in Memphis till June 2008 and then went back to India for vacation . Mean while my employer changed my work location to New York city and I joined there in September. I was working for 2 months from India only.

I had to move my stuff from Memphis to New York. Will this situation allow me to deduct the moving expenses. If yes, what all expenses can I deduct as relocation/Moving expense.

    Thanks,
