Conversations With Spirits
My grandad in spirit has been around me all my life he is my guide but as I am still a bit frightened about talking to spirits and I can't hear him as I'm blocked my 10yr old daughter can hear him and so I communicate with him through my daughter. We are fully protected by angels but how would I really know if this is a bad spirit impersonating my grandad?

Surely you would be able to discern something that is said that isn't in your best interest? I imagine you are a religious person, why would you listen to a spirit before God? If you are honest with yourself, you will know what your daughter says is truth, disception or simply misinterpretation and if you are in doubt, pray about it. God will have the right answer if you listen to your heart and not your desire to have your Grand Dad back in your life. |

TexasParent makes a good point that our desires can sometimes blind us and make us easy to exploit. There is no easy recipe for learning the art of love without dependency. But that is the best way for dealing with your grandfather's spirit. Love and honest sharing, but not a spiritual hunger. Hard to explain... Sorry if I'm not putting it very well. Anyway, you know your grandfather and you have had a good spiritual communication in the past. So if some other being tried to impersonate you, you would know it. It would feel wrong. If you call him by his name, holding the clear intention that you are calling to him so that he can be present in your life, then he is the one who will answer that call, not any other. About this being blocked. Do you think you are blocked because of this latent fear that any spirit you touch might be a devil or demon in disguise? If there's one thing that gums up the intuitive radar it is fear. Why do you think you are blocked from hearing him with your inward ear? It would not seem to be a lack of faith in the possibility of such communications, since you had it before and you do not seem to doubt the validity of your daughter's contact with him. Trust him, trust yourself, trust God. Stop trying so hard and just remind yourself that it is not complicated. It is as easy to touch him as it is to love him. Blessings to you and your family. |
