Anyone know of an attorney that will (for a fee) prepare a pro se case?
Does anyone know of any attorneys that will (for a fee) help you with your specific case?

I live in Georgia and am being sued by a debt collector (they are a debt buyer). I received a summons a couple of days ago to answer to their complaint.

I found a website of a semi-retired attorney in my state that provides this exact service, but have been unable to contact him and any emails I send him bounce.

Here is a description of his service taken from his website:

    __________________________________________________ ________
DIRECT CLIENT SERVICES—Unlike most attorneys, we are not available to go to court with you. Georgia has 159 counties and each county has several levels of courts, from Magistrate Court to State Court to Superior Court. Our state is more than 300 miles from North to South, which is too much territory for one firm to cover.

Instead, what we do is analyze your debt problem (whether it is in litigation or not yet in court) and alert you to defenses, counterclaims and other issues. WE HELP YOU REPRESENT YOURSELF. We provide forms for correspondence and for litigation. Our service costs a FULLY REFUNDABLE $250 FLAT FEE, regardless of the complexity of the problem GO TO “SERVICES” FOR MORE INFORMATION.
    __________________________________________________ _________

I'm looking for an attorney that will assist me through the whole case. I would like to be able to email (or fax) them a copy of my summons and they in turn draft my response documents and instruct me what to do. Then once I receive anything in return I can forward to the attorney for further advice... all the way through to a trial.

If anyone knows of any attorneys that provide this kind of service (for a reasonable fee), please let me know. I really appreciate your help. Thanks in advance.

Well the fact you can not contact them should be a worry, any business would not be unable to contact.

But any attorney will prepare your material for you, I had an attorney do my entire divorce so I could file by myself, but they did the paper work.

Now the 250 flat fee is another thing, most will charge by the hour or for specific services.

    Hi Chuck

Thanks for the response. I’m not necessarily looking for someone to specifically do it for $250. That was just included in the description from the other attorneys’ website. :-)

Browse through the Bankruptcy & Debt and Credit forums here. There are hundreds of threads from people in your same circumstance. There are instructions there on how to proceed.

    Hi Scott

Thanks for your response as well!

I have looked through that forum. I've even posted a VERY detailed thread with a dozen questions (https://www.askmehelpdesk.com/bankru...ed-301531.html). My main problem is: there is just SO much information. I'm having a hard time making sense of it all and knowing exactly what to do.
