Hi my name is joshua wells I'm 13 soon to be 14 in January 17 I'm asking you a question... what do I do when people call me names I don't want to talk to my mom because she said she will take me out of the school and I don't want that or if I tell a teacher or something ill get another name... Tateltale I know what you are all going to say talk to an adult you trust but I don't trust an adult I know is there any other way I can tell some one?

Some times with all the names they call me I feel like I want to just run away or hang myself ( don't worry I would never hang myself ) I lost all my friends the people that I thought were my friends bully me to I don't know what to do HELP ME

From kids that can't cope in a normal society, who are made to feel bad and must always use these tactics to make themselves feel better by making others feel bad. Ignore them, be strong and don't bully back or answer back it only gives them the satisfaction of getting you upset. I know its hard but when I was your age I wasn't bullied nor did I bully. And because I was strong and confident in myself of who I was I never cared what people thought. It really sucks but hang in there. You could also join actvities out of school so you build relationships outside of what people see as now, new kids won't know enough about you to judge.

You have great power. Here's what you do -- Laugh along with them. "Ha ha ha, that's pretty funny!" OR "Pizza Face??? Ya want cheese and sausage or veggie pizza?? Gimme your order. And whaddya wanna drink with that??? Pepsi or Coke or grandma's lemonade???" OR "Nerd??" (then do in a sing-song voice, clapping your hands and doing a dance) "Nerdy birdy hurdy-gurdy purdy wordy ha ha ha ho ho ho hee hee hee." Use your imagination and be creative.

They want you to be upset and maybe cry and be angry. Turn the tables on them and join in with them. Make fun of yourself (but not of them). Before long, that gets boring to them--no bad reaction from you so let's pick on someone else.

Kids who bully are very unsure of themselves and have to put someone else down in order to feel good. That's a deep dark secret, so be sure not to mention that to them bcause, once they know, you will give your power away to them. When they're 35, they'll finally figure it out (I hope).
