    Judgement of unsecured debt
I have a court date of Jan. 13,2009. It is for a credit card debt,(since a law office has taken over the debt). It is being charged interest daily. What can I do about this? I've even considered bankruptcy.

You can't file bankruptcy to get out of one debt. If you have multiple collection agencies after you and absolutely cannot repay them, you'll have to go through credit counseling before being able to file.

You could try to negotiate a settlement with the company before going to court; it's up to them what they'd like to do.
