    Extremely bad anxiety, anyone know how to fix it.
    I have really bad anxiety and right now I am in the middle of my second - third panic attack today. I normally don't have more than one day, and they normally don't last this long. I'm not sure what to do, right now it is not as bad as it was about 10 minutes ago, if I was I couldn't type this but I really need to know if anyone knows anyway I can calm myself down. I can't take any medication and I can't seem to get myself back to normal. Please help, if I have another tonight I don't know what I would do.

    Yes, I go to therapy but I'm not sure why, it's not helping.

    Panic attacks can be caused by imbalances of certain hormones. Why can't you take medication? Light therapy may help. Your therapist may be getting you through some tough stuff, causing you to really feel the progress. Or, a different therapist may be indicated.

    I can't take medication because of my age, my doctor doesn't want to prescribe any medication unless it is absolutely necessary, but my mother doesn't want me taking medication because she doesn't believe me about how bad the attacks are. I really don't know what to do, because of my age am I supposed to just suffer?

    My daughter is 15 and she currently takes medication for panic attacks,but when she was 9 years old she was depressed and she went to a therapist and phychiatrist who put her on zoloft which helped her a lot.you should be able to take a medication at a young age if a dr. knows how to prescibe it to an adolesant.no need to suffer in this day and age . Go to a school counciler also,you need help and don't give up and try to solve it yourself it only delays your agony,good luck. Your mom is in denial if she doesn't believe you,get help you deserve it!

    I have went though what you are talking about. You can get though this and I will try to help you. It will take time but the sooner you start work
