I met my boyfriend in the beginning of summer and at 1st our relationship was just sexual. Then we started partying together and hanging out and eventually we fell in love and we've been pretty solid since then. He's so sweet, thoughful, generous, caring, witty, funny, smart, and handsome. He's perfect for me. There's nothing I'd change about our relationship except for one thing...
Back in October he dropped a bomb on me and told me his ex girlfriend was due to have his baby in February! I was so devastated. But I still loved him so I stuck by his side. It wasn't like he cheated on me or anything. The pregnancy occurred while we were still just a sexual thing. Although he took way too long to tell me about it. Everything went back to normal. I never asked any questions about it after that day and he never said anything about it and we just went on with our relationship.
But now the baby is almost here... what is going to change? Is he going to love me the same? I know this sounds selfish but will he be putting his baby and baby mama before me now? Is he going to have time or money for me? Is our relationship over?
I've asked him and he says nothing will change but how can he be sure? Also do I need to meet his baby mama? Am I expected to get involved in this? I don't want any children yet.

Chrissy this seems like such a difficult situation and I think you really need to really comprehend this because realizing that you're boyfriend has a child from someone else is a lot to handle and it's all right to freak out. First, I do not think you should meet the baby mama.. however when the baby arrives I believe your boyfriend would love if you were part of his/her life and would feel closer to you. Second, nothing will change aslong as you guys keep things strong and tight especially if you stay there for him and help him instead of complaining about the situation. Finally, remember that this is a huge thing for your boyfriend as well.. I mean you can walk away from this anytime you want.. but thnk about the responsibility he has to take.. I thnk he would appreciate it a lot if you would be there for him and help him throughout this ordeal.. and let him know that his child will not have you run away and leave but you will be there for all the help he needs..
