Luxaire High Eficiency Gas furnace Pilot goes off
    Hello Experts,
I am a new member of this group from New Jersey. I have a Luxaire Gas Furnace about 12 years old. Today all of sudden cold air was coming through the ducts. Blower was on but no flame I saw then turned off the blower and turned on again Pilot came on so did the Flame but after 10 minutes flame went off and we are getting cold air now. Any one can help me to solve this problem its very cold to live with children without heat. Please help and Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the answer, The model no. I did not see but it says Luxaire High Efficiency on the fron cover. It also says that it does not have Pilot it has Electronic Ignition Device. Any idea? Can I fix this with your help? I think Gas Valve or Flame sensor has issue. Please advice. Thanks.

I suspected you don't have a pilot so it is probably one of the 92% AFUE models. Maybe even PBLU---

Start by cleaning the flame sensor and get back to us. Are you getting any blinking codes from the controller board?

Thank you very much. Let me try to locate the sensor. Then I'll try my best to clean it.

You say it runs for 10 minutes before cutting off. Have you bypassed the tstat to rule it out? Seems to me 10 minutes is a long time before the flame senser kills the power

No Idid not pass The TStat since I do not know anything about plumbing or TStat, but Dac122 has great help with picture of Flame Sensor which is hard to reach & clean anyway I tried to reach & clean that with sand paper. Not really cleaned by me but I tried and heat is coming but if you can tell me how can I pull out the sensor then I would rather change the Sensor. Thank you in Advance and your help is highly appreciated.
