Neighbor's title putting a cloud on my title
I am in the process of selling a home in Florida ,Broward county. The title company doing the closing has found that on title of the next door neighbor's house they left off the last 7 letters of the legal description of their property without those 7 letters it looks like the neighbor owns my property and hers. The title company who did her closing has gone out of business and the neighbor refuses to sign the corrective deed. Our buyer is going to back out of the deal if we cannot get this corrected. Please who can I turn to to get this corrected.

You have to go to court to clear your title. This is why of course I would hope you purchased title insurance when you bought to protect you.

You start with a real estate attorney who will file a motion to have the court declair your title clear.
