    Replacing 2way pull lighting switch
I have a ceiling fan and needed to replace the pull switch for the lighting part, I got a pull switch but I didn't note the wires and now I can't put t back together. The fan used to work, now it doesn't. The wires coming from under the fan part are black and white and the wires coming from the 3 light bottom piece are 3 blue and 3 white. The switch has two black wires and I'm so confused

p.s. I actually took the switch from another ceiling fan it was also a 2 way switch... I don't know if that effects it or not but it was working in the other room

Please help a girl in need:confused:

Oh you accidentally disconnected some other wire. Check all the white and black wires first.

So do all the blue wires go to the black wire hanging down together and all the white wires go to the white wire hanging down. And which wires do the switch go to?

Connect all the blues to one of the blacks from the pullchain. The other black to the blue from the fan.

All whites to the white from the fan.
