    Item in my paystub (I was never paid for).
    In my company I work part-time (no benefits), in New York City. There's an item in my pay stub since January labeled "Annual Leave" for $600+. It's under "Earnings", "Regular Pay" and it's totaled in the "YTD Amount". They don't give me the $600+ and they don't take it out. What's the next step?

    I would talk with your HR person or Payroll Dept and have them tell you what it is.

    I know what it is. They know what it is. I am not supposed to receive it. But they give me the run around and expect me to pay taxes on it. I have no problems if they want to leave it there and make me pay taxes on it, BUT THEY HAVE to give it to me! They will not give it to me (I'm pretty sure), SO what's the next step to have them force it to take it out or what are the steps with the IRS, etc?

    It appears that after your W-2 was supposed to be issued to you (February 2, 2009), plus a few days for the mail, you can contact the IRS to file a W-2 complaint. You will be able to use the Form 4852 the IRS sends you to file your income tax return.
