    Embarrassing wetness
When myself and my partner make love, I get extremely wet and as my partner calls it, I am a gusher. I don't have a problem with this especially as my pertner rather likes that he can make me do this but I do have a problem with the mess it is making off our mattress and the abount of washing of sheets and towels we have to do (we have sex rather a lot) Also, there is a rather pungent sex smell in our bed no matter how much we wash the bedding or fabreeze the mattress and give it a good dis-infectant. Any suggestions over how I can stop this smell or how I can overcome this. Also, am I abnormal?

Have you tried outting a towel underneath you when you have sex so you can get rid of the smell as soon as you are done?

Aah put the bad under the towel... makes sense a bit more now, we will have to try this, I'm sure we can make it into a joke and not let it put us off sex... occasionally I don't want to have sex because I cannot be bothered washing the sheet and all the towels, makes me feel bad that.

THere are matteress pads that go under the sheets. Combine that with a moisture barrier type pad you can keep the matteress from reeking.

Buy extra sheets... then you don't have to wash the one set you have at once. They aren't that big a deal to wash.

Now like was mentioned... there is the shower, the kitchen floor etc. Keep an open mind. THere are alternatives.

Girl, you are urinating. Often young and inexperienced women mistake an sexual orgasmic response with the urge to urinate during sexual arousal.

I recommend that you spend time three times a week along and with a vibrator and a good book on learning now to orgasm. Time well spent.

Best wishes in the future, :)

PS I want to mention that natural sexual juices of men and women do *not* have an unpleasant scent... only diseased juices of all kinds and some kinds of urine have a foul scent.

Good catch Choux, I missed that assuming she knew the difference, She might also have a medical condition that can be treated. I think she should speak with her gynocologist.

I also think she should talk to the Gyno. Just to make sure there is nothing wrong medically..

Also, your friends on here have good ideas.. kitchen floor, counter top.. shower, hot tub, pool (but for the water stuff use water proof lube, because the water washes away your natural lube)

I disagree that it's urine, and disagree that sex does not have an odor.

We've been round and round in other threads about whether a woman's orgasmic reaction is urine or if it's actually an ejaculate. There is NO scientific proof that it's EITHER at this point.

Unless someone has a recent article from a medical journal they'd like to share?

Either way--she doesn't state that it's her ejaculate. She states that she's extremely wet. That could just as easily be her vaginal "juices" on overdrive as it could be ejaculate of any kind--she didn't specify, so let's not jump to conclusions, okay?

As far as the odor goes---come on! Are you telling me that you can't walk into a room where two people have recently had sex and NOT smell it? Even healthy people permeate a smell during and after sex that can be associated with sex.

Nowhere does she state it's a URINE smell (which is pretty distinctive, wouldn't you say?)--she states only that it's a sex smell.

While she SHOULD bring these questions to her gynocologist anyway--because only a medical doctor can rule out any medical factors--let's not make a mountain of a molehill.

Getting rubberized sheets to put under your sheets can protect your mattress. Placing towels underneath you can help alleviate the mess.

Best advice I saw was to have sex in the shower, and to see a gynocologist.

Visit the infant section at your local department store or discount store. There you will find various sizes of flannel-covered waterproof pads to place under your towels. These pads will protect the sheets so you don't have to change them every time. Then go to the linens department and invest in a waterproof mattress pad or two and maybe another set of sheets that will fit your bed.

Ha! Sorry but I had to laugh. Try putting a rubber sheet under your regular sheet to keep it off the mattress. Hahaha! Crap I'm sorry, I laughed again. Seriously though you probably need to see your gyno. You either have a yeast or bacterial infection. Go get checked out OK? That is NOT normal.

Getting extremely wet is normal for a lot of women including me but as for the smell... that may not just be a sex smell your smelling. You may have vaginosis... this is a bacterial disease that makes your vagina get wetter than usual and your discharge to have a potent smell. I'd definitely get a test done by your GYN.

My boyfriend and I make sure to have 2 towels handy during sex. One to wipe because extreme wetness can interfere with the friction a man needs to orgasm and one to put underneath me so we don't get the bed, the couch, the table etc etc messy.
