Please help,
I am putting a wood shop in my basement.
I have a 15 amp circuit I will be using. I plan on running a drill press, table saw, scroll saw, disc sander and a compound miter saw of this circuit. Never will I run more than 1 at a time. These tools are not the industrial size. They have 1/3 - 2/3 horsepower. I have some extra wire laying around the house and I am wondering if I can use this without risking any problems. I am using conduit. I have rolls of 10 gauge black wire and 14 gauge white wire.
Can I do this and be safe? I don't have a problem doing it the right way I just was wondering if I could use up some wire safely.
Any assistant would be greatly appreciated

A 15 amp is 1,800 watts safety amount usable 1440 watts
A 20 amp is 2200 watts " " " 1920 watts
By code you only rate the actual usage of 80% of what the amps are.
Volts times amps times 80
That's basically your calculation on load
If it's a dedicated circuit for just your power tools and use them individually you should be fine Don't forget good grounding
