    H1B Extension from outside USA
    I got my H1B approved on jan10th 2006. I worked in US until Sep-2007. In October2007 I went to India for some Medical reason and been in India since then. But my H1B will expire on Jan10-2009. I am still in india... I want my H1B to get extended. What is the procedure for that. I heard that H1B can be extended with candidate being out of USA. Is it true? If I have to file my extension, do I have to do it before it expires on Jan10th-2009. Please advice me on this.

    Contact your employer... they have the right to terminate your contract or extend, etc.
