Oven is tripping the 50 Amp fuse
About 3 months ago my oven would spuratically trip the fuse. It is the only thing on that 50 Amp fuse. Up until that time (3 years)I've never had any problems with it. Is this due to a fuse being old, thus faulty, or is it an issue with the oven?
    Thanks,
    K

First you need to check the entire oven electrical supply circuit. The wiring in the electric panel could be loose causing overheating or a splice might have been made in the circuit. The oven itself could be causing the problem if it has a short on one of the elements. It would be best to have someone familiar with electric with meters to check it out to prevent you from getting a shock while trying to work on it.
