I am getting married in a year to a wonderful man. A couple months ago he didn't want anything to do with getting married or he didn't want to talk about it. All of a sudden he proposed to me, and he's more excited than I am. Ever since we been engaged he has changed alot; becoming very protected, worrying, and making love every night. Can someone tell me he hit a growth spur or what?

Have you talked to him about this? If he has done a 180 on you, I think you need to have a serious talk about it! Did you give him reason to think he might lose you, and it dawned on him? Something sounds a little off to me if in the matter of a few months he totally changed his attitude towards marriage. You need to find out the reasons for this from him. If you don't have communication between you, you don't have a foundation to build on.

I agree with Starbuck that communication is so important. But maybe he was acting disinterested because he wanted the proposal to be a surprise. Just a thought.
